About Me
My name is Jacob Oommen Athyal and I’m an Indian born, American actor. I hold an MFA in the Creation of New Works from The Ohio State University and I am a member of Actors Equity Association.
I’ve worked professionally as an actor since 2011 primarily in Boston, and on occasion in New York City and Juneau, Alaska.

Story
I was born in Tamil Nadu, a state at the southern tip of India. My family is from the state of Kerala (google it, it’s beautiful) and I came to the United States for my education in 2010. I accidently walked into the Theatre Department because of a work-study application mishap and haven’t looked back.
